Kullaaugu Film Music Residency will aim for creating a finalized piece of music for a short film, an animation or a commercial, in cooperation with the representatives of chosen audiovisual projects.In order for both sides to be satisfied with the end results, they will need to communicate in the span of the residency.Alternatively, it is possible for residents to opt in to make music specific to a landmark or environmental surroundings.
Duration of residency
Up to 1 month, two slots between September-November 2024.
By the end of the residencies, there will be public display of works.
Accommodation
The residency is located in a beautiful countryside village in South-East of Estonia, situated 30 km from Tartu (within 1 km radius there are essentials such as grocery store, gym, pharmacy). Commuting by bus to nearby Tartu and Põlva is possible.
Studio / Workspace
Private studio with work equipment. Bedroom lies next to the studio space. Utilities like washing machine, shower and basic kitchen equipment are included. Warmth is generated by heating the stove with firewood. For high-speed data transfer, WiFi spreads through the space.
